Wòw!
Waterfilter 1981 - one of the first pictures I made with the EL/M (Distagon 60mm). With that meter-prism, the Metz 60 and the 250mm a real monster. And today, while loading, she exploded with a bang. Look at the battery!
I always wanted a Hasselblad; I have a Rollei 6x6 and an old Zeis Ikon Ikoflex 6x6, but I have no way to scan the negs, so I never use them. Bloody shame. That is one hell of a battery!
My fault, I think. It took 2 of them, and I placed only one fuse. BAM! Well, I still have the little 500C/M. My friend: those two cameras deserve a scanner! My cheap Canoscan8800F does everything I want (even 8x12 sheetfilm!) and it's Christmas soon...
I second the motion on scanners.....the quality has gone up as the prices have gone down...
Also Erwin, love the water filter. Very 'John Sextonish'. I have his recent book on industrial landscapes "Places of Power". Great work. Sorry about the camera, I recently lost two old friends, although one may be repairable.
