1936 JUNE 16
Today "our" bridge celebrates it's 75th birthday and for me there's a story to it. Of course the official opening had to be tested, by a lieutenant in a car. And as he was my mother's (then) boyfriend, she became the first woman to drive over the new bridge. Whoa!
Of course I took this picture with the 1936 KW Pilot6, on 1960 Ansco, 1/25 sec F7,7 (you can see the back paper etc.) More info about this film on flickr.
Small pic: at 6 secs all traffic disappears, but the back paper fog becomes very visible. (see comment)

COMPOSITIONS IN B&W. (and red)
In the spring/summertime I'm more the birdwatcher than the light-addict. Sorry! But I do not forget my black&white roots. Never. So here is a (rather desperate, poor thing) oystercatcher in black and white. And some red. In an also b&w&r asphalt desert where some time ago his home was...
And the Common Tern, elegant as ever, also in b&w&r.
