1980 I became a pro (ha!) First commission: the new painting in the pool. From the roof, please. Nothing artistic. (Whàt? I'm an acrophobic artist, sir!) Concrete stairs? No, a too short ladder. So I took my Distagon and made the picture on PlusX.

Alweer bijna 30 jaar Pro, dan ben ik dat ook bedenk ik me. Samen fotovakschool, dat was een leuke tijd. Digitaal was toen echt nog een ver van m'n bed show. Ik las dat de 50mm Distagon speciaal voor de maanlanding is ontworpen. Alles scherp vanaf zo'n 2 meter want scherpstellen met die handschoenen (zelfs met die handel) blijft lastig.
