How very nice: a sunday walk through a childhood street to discover this great multi-culty party. You'll see the church where I was baptized in the back. And I was only testing 1973 ISS in my 1936 Kodak, and 100 years old EKDP.

Very special film indeed: Kodak did not manufacture 620 film after 1983, but this "olympic" one is 1996. In my 1937 Duo-620 and Colortec.

Work

No, of course I was nòt only enjoying the caffè con gelato at Ponte Vecchio, Fior di Panna at La Carraia, or spinaci at Giannino.
I was looking for "Firenze di Allora".
And sometimes even found it!
Here, for instance, La Giustizia, by Francesco Ferrucci del Tadda. And, ladies, you'll find Salvatore Ferragamo nearby, but mind your steps...

1963 Ilford in the 1938 Kodak 620

Tropical morning

I thought it was an Ilford FP3, but they never made that in Belgium, so probably I had sixties Gevaert in the 1938 Kodak 620. And I made more mistakes, as you can see.
Luckily Jeroen had coffee, sausage and nice bread, there were lots of cormorants (and horse-flies) so: very nice morning.

Das Bild ist verwackelt ( 1/50 im Gehen), die Freundschaft aber felsenfest und für mein Blog sowieso zu gross.

Nach der ESC...

...sah Düsseldorf heute ein bisschen müde aus. Und leer - fast wie der Vater Rhein. Und das Wetter auch nur halbstark (jaaa, ich weiss, aber ich bin nun mal so alt...)

In der 1938 Nagel 620 hatte ich < 1970 Selochrome.

Experience pays: last year I had some HPS so I knew it was about 40 ASA and 7 mins in Rodinal. A bit fog, border-problems, but perfectly usable.

Kaiserwetter an der Kö

Tradition: Geburtstag feiere ich in Düsseldorf, wo denn sonst. Baustelle wohin das Auge blickt, aber dieses Trompe L'Oeil verspricht was wir so um 2014 geniessen werden.
Selochrome hält sein Versprechen schon heute. Der 48+ Film liefert mit dem 1938 Tessar wieder perfekte Bilder.
