1936 JUNE 16

Today "our" bridge celebrates it's 75th birthday and for me there's a story to it. Of course the official opening had to be tested, by a lieutenant in a car. And as he was my mother's (then) boyfriend, she became the first woman to drive over the new bridge. Whoa!

Of course I took this picture with the 1936 KW Pilot6, on 1960 Ansco, 1/25 sec F7,7 (you can see the back paper etc.) More info about this film on flickr.

Small pic: at 6 secs all traffic disappears, but the back paper fog becomes very visible. (see comment)

"Our" bridge is 75 this year, so I'll have to come back with the 1936 Pilot, some day.

Tribute to a great film

This was my last March 1970 Selochrome. The nicest film I ever put in a camera. Even after 40+ years it performed impeccably: no fog, no loss of sensitivity, smooth and sharp, no dried out sticky paper.
In the 1955 Brownie 620. Those were the days...

Spanischer Sommer...

...in der Bolkerstrasse. Wird gerade umgekrempelt, aber auf der A57 war Sonne und die Landschaft trocken und dürr, also: Café Madrid. Eine Taube setzt sich unter meinem Stuhl, zusammen geniessen wir Brot und Öl, und Wein aber dafür ist die Taube zu jung.
Dann noch mal kurz zum Kaufhof an der Kö weil Herta's beste Frikadellen alle sind und darauf möchte ich nicht verzichten.
Jaja, ich bin schon ein kleiner Feinschmecker...

In der 1955 Brownie 620 war mein letzter 1970 Selochrome, mehr darüber später.
