Once again I show you a tiny bit of my disgraceful digital life.
Starting with the Jays that were born in my bedroom, (yes, also this year they enjoy my hospitality) a Cybershotpic, and then all the other birds I like so much, with the Sigma.

Pentecost bird
Once a year around Pentecost I show you a tiny bit of my secret, digital life, a kind of démasqué...
With my humble, old Rebel, or the even older Cybershot.

The Pentecostal cross-over
As you know, once a year, in May, I reveal tiny bits of my secret, digital life.
No "tutorial" on bird-photography; I own the cheapest Rebel plus 250mm combination, added some iron so I can handle it with my wrecked hand, put my boots on and start walking in the fields. With some breakfast: apple-juice, cheese.

Nevertheless: I love those hours outside, sun, rain, mud, wet grass.
From top: Godwit, Blackcap, Blue Tit and Robin. The Blackcap reminds me of the late Herman Brood, one of my favourite artists.

MINIS 2 the cross-over

This blog is about analogue photography, but, like Walter Mitty, I do have a secret, digital, life.
Birds.
And once a year I show you some of it, this time (look below) minis.
All made with the simple Canon Rebel and the haze-bitten 55-250.

COMPOSITIONS IN B&W. (and red)

In the spring/summertime I'm more the birdwatcher than the light-addict. Sorry! But I do not forget my black&white roots. Never. So here is a (rather desperate, poor thing) oystercatcher in black and white. And some red. In an also b&w&r asphalt desert where some time ago his home was...
And the Common Tern, elegant as ever, also in b&w&r.

Bird-watching

This spring I spend a lot of time photographing birds (and nature). Did that in the sixties, with a 135mm Komura + Fodor (?) extender, but at the moment I use a 250mm AF IS repeater. So I thought it would be nice to try the 1984 Sigma again.
Well, good old Van Tienhoven (picture, with the Astro 500) was better. I know my lapwings, but can yóu actually see them?
