Ploë, ofwel het lieflijke dorp Oploo.

Waar maar liefst twee molens, pal tegenover elkaar staan. Een heel prettige plek om een half uurtje te niksen, desnoods met een boek.

Jammer - daar woonden mijn eerste Farfisa-leerlingen. Èrg aardige mensen.

NH Kerkje Nederasselt

Dit was een van de eerste foto's van dit blog. Gemaakt in 2009 met een pilot.6 uit 1936. Ik kom regelmatig langs dit kerkje als ik een stukje langs de Maas ga.
En vandaag was het open!

Da's lang geleden - maar toen ik vanmorgen door Gennep liep met de FD 35-70 op de FTbQL dacht ik opeens weer aan al die oude loks op de Siberische stations. Ik ga, over een paar jaar, die reis zeker weer eens maken. Een week niks doen in de ouwe TransSib, boemelen door een eindeloos berkenbos.

Minox B - one step further

With a splitter (16mm>N8) you also can refill Minox cassettes.

Because normal film is thinner than original Minox/Agfa, transport twice, to prevent overlapping.

Original 16 mm film is hard to get and very expensive, so I always cut the last piece of a film to 16 mm. Easy, and enough for 8 negs.
135 Gives 1 strip, 120 even easier,  gives three.

PS Unsharp Silberra? No - I just didn't focus, my fault.

Troubles in Russia

 Noo - the police were very helpful, the soup (as always) very tasteful. But the weather was very dark,
 I underestimated that.
And then there was the MIR 10A - too bulky. I don't like a camerastrap around my neck,
I put my three cameras in my pockets, 10A was too heavy. (P 1+2)

So I took most pics with the (scratched) ЛОМО 135М. (P 3-6)
