Yesterday my niece gave me a school picture of my father. I never saw it - and suddenly I realised that, seventy years later, I went to the same old building to take a Turkish course! There is a new school now, couldn't find a picture of the old one but the houses in the background (where my second piano-teacher lived) are still there.
(Nr 1 is my father, nr 2 is his twin-brother.)

I have a very similar photo of my mother's elementary school class from the 1930's. The style didn't change much.
